Do I need a referral?
Yes, you will need a referral letter to see our surgeons. This referral can come from your regular GP or another specialist you visit.
Make sure your referral letter is up-to-date to be eligible for Medicare Rebates on your consultation and any surgical fees, even if you're returning for a follow-up visit.
A referral from a general practitioner is valid for 12 months, while a referral from a specialist is valid for 3 months.

We will then call you to arrange an appointment.
Is your condition urgent?
If you or your referring doctor feel that your condition is urgent, please let us know so we can prioritise your booking.
What should I bring to my first visit?
- The referral letter if it has not already been sent to us
- All X-rays, CT or ultrasound scans, recent blood tests if you have these
- A list of your regular medications
- Your Medicare card, private health insurance card, DVA card (if applicable)
- List of questions for the surgeon
- The completed new patient registration form
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your appointment to register your details if you haven't already done so.
What is the clinic’s policy to a patient’s wait time?
We value your time as much as our own and strive to stay on schedule. However, our surgeons occasionally face delays due to emergencies or patients with complex conditions that require extra time.
These situations can lead to scheduling delays beyond our control. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Cancellation Policy
I need to cancel an appointment. What should I do?
Please call us on 03 90782184 during business hours and provide at least 24 hours' notice so we can offer your appointment time to other patients on our waiting list.
Note: If you do not attend your appointment without notifying us, a cancellation fee may be applied at our discretion.
